EXECUTIVE SUMMARY & DESIGN BRIEF
Castle Survey and Research is a professional firm specializing in market research, data collection, and analytical research solutions. As instructed by the client, the goal was to craft a bold, corporate identity purely through typography and structural layout—completely bypassing complex icons or graphic symbols. The primary objective was to communicate trust, stability, and empirical accuracy through clean, deliberate letterforms.

STRATEGIC CONCEPT & VISUAL METAPHORS
- Commanding Serif Typo (“CASTLE”): Rendered in a bold Crimson Red, the high-contrast serif typography projects authority, heritage, and the structural solidity associated with a “Castle” foundation.
- Structural Grounding Line: The solid Slate Gray bar positioned at the base serves as a horizontal anchor, symbolizing land boundaries, level lines in field surveying, and the solid baseline of research data.
- Secondary Typography (“SURVEY AND RESEARCH”): Placed neatly alongside the gray baseline, the condensed sub-text balances the overall visual layout while instantly clarifying the firm’s key services.
DESIGN SYSTEM BREAKDOWN
- High-Contrast Serif: Establishes the corporate credibility and prestige required for high-stakes B2B relationships and government contracts.
- Slate Gray Anchor Line: Visually represents data baselines and field survey precision.
- Color Psychology: Crimson Red communicates leadership and confidence, while Slate Gray grounds the identity with technical precision and neutrality.
